Arsenal clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they look to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 36th minute when Matty Cash found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Leandro Trossard equalised for the North London giants in the 52nd minute. However, Emi Buendia scored the winning goal for the home team in injury time as Arsenal crashed to a tough 2-1 loss away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Villans.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raya made his fair share of saves during the game, but still ended up conceding two goals today.<\/p>\n

RB: Ben White \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timber performed his defensive duties well, but won\u2019t be happy about conceding twice this afternoon.<\/p>\n

CB: Piero Hincapie \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could, but it was not enough.<\/p>\n

LB: Riccardo Calafiori \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t do much wrong defensively, but lacked quality in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Odegaard \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Odegaard caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rice offered good protection for his teammates at the back and engineered two key chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused a lot of headaches for his marker but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

ST: Mikel Merino \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal. Merino was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

LW: Eberechi Eze \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eze made one good run with the ball and was substituted at half-time.<\/p>\n

Gyokeres failed to get into the flow of the game.<\/p>\n
