Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a victory at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 25th minute when Richarlison found the back of the net. Xavi Simons doubled Tottenham\u2019s advantage with a good finish in the 43rd minute as Thomas Frank\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The North London club controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes and earned a solid 2-0 win in front of their home supporters.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Bees.<\/p>\n

GK: Guglielmo Vicario \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vicario pulled off one solid save at the back and did enough to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

RB: Pedro Porro \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made two key chances going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Cristian Romero \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romero gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

CB: Micky van de Ven \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when required and did enough to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

LB: Djed Spence \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bentancur anchored the midfield with conviction but lacked quality in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

CM: Archie Gray \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when needed but struggled to impress in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohammed Kudus \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kudus made a handful of driving runs with the ball and was tidy with his passing.<\/p>\n

CAM: Xavi Simons \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was always willing to have a strike at goal and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

LW: Richarlison \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Richarlison caught the eye at times and managed to score the opener in the 25th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Randal Kolo Muani \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kolo Muani managed to shine at times but didn\u2019t do enough to register a goal.<\/p>\n

He added some bite and steel to Tottenham\u2019s midfield.<\/p>\n

Odobert made one decent run with the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Pape Matar Sarr \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sarr struggled to get into the flow of the game.<\/p>\n
