Chelsea welcomed Everton at Stamford Bridge earlier this afternoon as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 21st minute when Cole Palmer got his name on the scoresheet. Malo Gusto doubled his side\u2019s advantage in the 45th minute as Enzo Maresca\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The West London club controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes and secured an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home supporters.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Chelsea<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Toffees.<\/p>\n

GK: Robert Sanchez \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanchez made one good save at the back and earned an important clean sheet this afternoon.<\/p>\n

RB: Malo Gusto \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

CB: Wesley Fofana \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fofana put his foot through the ball when needed and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

CB: Trevoh Chalobah \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and was accurate with his passing.<\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties well and made one decent chance going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Reece James \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

James managed to shine at times on both halves.<\/p>\n

CM: Enzo Fernandez \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned possession back twice and made one inviting chance in the final third.<\/p>\n

RW: Pedro Neto \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Neto was a real menace on the right flank and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CAM: Cole Palmer \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused some headaches for his marker and took his goal well in the 21st minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Alejandro Garnacho \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Garnacho was not shy of having a shot at goal.<\/p>\n

He managed to prove his worth at times up top but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n
