After facing a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United, Aston Villa bounced back against Manchester City. They overpowered the opponents 2-1 in the Premier League to register another victory and climb <\/span>up<\/span> to the sixth spot on the points table.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Villans have their next game lined up against Newcastle United this week in an away package. It will be a tough challenge for them but they do have all the resources and confidence to extract a positive result out of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Defence<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Emi Martinez<\/a> made a strong statement as usual against Manchester City. He will be ready to operate between the sticks once again. Right-back Matty Cash looked a bit shaky in one-on-one situations but he should be retained.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kudos to the centre-back pair of Pau Torres and Ezri Konsa <\/span>to keep<\/span> the Citizens in check. They will be motivated to put on an impressive performance once again this week. Lucas Digne has been the best player for his side so far and there is no doubt<\/span> over<\/span> his selection as the left-back.<\/span><\/p>\n

Midfield<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Unai Emery has no reason to alter anyone in the holding midfield duo of Amadou Onana<\/a> and Boubacar Kamara. The two showed solidity and dominated the <\/span>centre of the park<\/span> with a tireless work-rate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attack<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Morgan Rogers<\/a> is operating on the left flank with John McGinn taking care of the other side of the pitch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youri Tielemans retains his spot as the attacking midfielder with Jhon Duran playing in front of him. The attacking unit has done well this season so far and will be tested once again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Villans don\u2019t have <\/span>much problem as far as the player\u2019s<\/span> availability. Only Diego Carlos and Jacob Ramsey are sidelined for the <\/span>concerned<\/span> clash.<\/span><\/p>\n
