Manchester City entertained Brentford at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute when Rayan Cherki found the back of the net. Pep Guardiola\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Savinho doubled his team\u2019s advantage in the 67th minute as Man City ended up earning a solid 2-0 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester City<\/a> player fared during the clash against Brentford.<\/p>\n

GK: James Trafford \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trafford made a few solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet at the Etihad.<\/p>\n

RB: Rico Lewis \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CB: Abdukodir Khusanov \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was accurate with his passing.<\/p>\n

CB: Nathan Ake \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ake dealt with the danger when needed and was a good presence on the ball.<\/p>\n

LB: Nico O\u2019Reilly \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both halves and was replaced after the hour mark.<\/p>\n

CM: Nico Gonzalez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gonzalez anchored the midfield well and made two good chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Tijjani Reijnders \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when needed and ran the show inside the Brentford half. Reijnders has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

RW: Savio \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Savio was a constant menace in the final third and managed to double his side\u2019s advantage in the 67th minute.<\/p>\n

CAM: Rayan Cherki \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a real threat in and around the opponent\u2019s penalty area and was responsible for scoring the opener in the 32nd minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Oscar Bobb \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bobb made a bright start to the game but had to be replaced in the 18th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Divin Mukasa \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a handful for the opposition defenders, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n
