Tottenham Hotspur entertained Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game and found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the 33rd minute when the referee showed Xavi Simons a red card. Thomas Frank\u2019s men went into the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Alexander Isak scored the opener in the 56th minute with a good finish. Alexander Isak doubled his team\u2019s advantage just ten minutes later. Richarlison got a goal back for the North London club late in the game before Cristian Romero was sent off as well in injury time. The match ended with Tottenham suffering a tough 2-1 loss in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> player performed during the clash against the Reds.<\/p>\n

GK: Guglielmo Vicario \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vicario made a couple of solid saves during the game, but would not be pleased after conceding twice in the second half.<\/p>\n

RB: Pedro Porro \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

CB: Cristian Romero \u2013 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Romero made a lot of crucial clearances at the back. However, he let his teammates down by getting sent off in injury time.<\/p>\n

CB: Micky van de Ven \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He dealt with the danger when he could, but failed to keep things tidy defensively in the second half.<\/p>\n

LB: Djed Spence \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both halves.<\/p>\n

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bentancur worked hard defensively and managed to shine at times in the Liverpool half.<\/p>\n

CM: Archie Gray \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He did his fair share of defending but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohammed Kudus \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kudus made one promising run with the ball, but never looked like he would score.<\/p>\n

CAM: Lucas Bergvall \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was quiet for most of his time on the field.<\/p>\n

LW: Xavi Simons \u2013 5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Simons made a slow start to the game and let his teammates down after getting sent off in the 33rd minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Randal Kolo Muani \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He got himself into some dangerous areas up top but failed to find the back of the net.<\/p>\n

RW: Brennan Johnson \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one key chance in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Joao Palhinha \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n

He struggled to influence the game.<\/p>\n
