Manchester United clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 45th minute when Morgan Rogers scored with a superb strike. However, Matheus Cunha equalised for the visitors in the latter stages of the first half as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.<\/p>\n

Rogers scored again for the West Midlands club in the 57th minute as Man United ended up suffering a tough 2-1 loss at Villa Park.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester United<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Villans.<\/p>\n

GK: Senne Lammens \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lammens made two solid saves at the back and failed to keep a clean sheet in both halves.<\/p>\n

CB: Leny Yoro \u2013\u00a0 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared the danger when he could but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Ayden Heaven \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Heaven performed his defensive duties well and was good on the ball<\/p>\n

CB: Luke Shaw \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He did his fair share of defending but failed to keep the opposition attackers quiet.<\/p>\n

RM: Diogo Dalot \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Manuel Ugarte \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ugarte anchored the midfield well but struggled to impress going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Bruno Fernandes \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

LM: Patrick Dorgu \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dorgu came back to defend when needed and had a few bright moments in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

RAM: Mason Mount \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was not shy of having a strike at goal.<\/p>\n

LAM: Matheus Cunha \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cunha was a decent contributor in the final third and managed to score in the dying embers of the first half.<\/p>\n

ST: Benjamin Sesko \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was quiet for most of his time on the field.<\/p>\n

CB: Lisandro Martinez \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was solid at the back and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n
