In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Graeme Bailey claimed that Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> remain keen on recruiting Real Madrid<\/a> talent Rodrygo. It has been revealed that Spurs are showing interest in signing the Brazilian winger after failing to land him last summer.<\/p>\n

Rodrygo\u2019s Impressive Form In Spanish Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Rodrygo has struggled to earn regular first-team starts at the Madrid club this season, but has managed to put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 24-year-old has scored two goals and earned four assists in 21 matches for Real Madrid in this campaign so far across all fronts.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian talent has given a good account of himself in the final third as he is averaging 3.23 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga<\/a>. He has kept 40% of his attempts on target. Rodrygo was even excellent when distributing possession in the opponent\u2019s half, based on his pass completion rate of 84.9% in the Spanish top tier (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for Spurs to land him on a cut-price deal next year.<\/p>\n

Is Rodrygo A Good Choice For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Rodrygo can engineer a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian sensation can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top when he is playing regularly on the field. However, the jury is out on whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League<\/a> if Spurs manage to snap him up in 2026.<\/p>\n

We can expect Rodrygo to bring more quality and depth to Tottenham boss Thomas Frank\u2019s frontline. He is good enough to nail down a regular first-team spot at the North London club in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n
