Newcastle United will lock horns with Manchester United at Old Trafford this Friday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn a 2-2 draw against Chelsea recently, so they would be keen on getting back to winning ways this weekend.<\/p>\n

Eddie Howe will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Nick Woltemade would once again get the nod to lead the line for the Tyneside club up top.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Aaron Ramsdale will feature in between the sticks for the Magpies after he conceded two goals in his last outing. Malick Thiaw will function alongside Fabian Schar at the heart of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

Lewis Miley will fill in as the right-back, while Lewis Hall hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.<\/p>\n

Alex Murphy will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jacob Ramsey, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali will make up Howe\u2019s midfield as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and orchestrate some inviting chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

Joe Willock will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anthony Gordon will try to put his pace to good use as the left-sided wide player, while Jacob Murphy looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the right-winger.<\/p>\n

Nick Woltemade will spearhead Newcastle<\/a>\u2018s attack up top. He scored a brace against Chelsea and would be eager to keep his good form going at Old Trafford this weekend.<\/p>\n

Yoanne Wissa and Harvey Barnes will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Newcastle are in need of a goal by then.<\/p>\n
