Manchester City faced off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.<\/p>\n

Tijjani Reijnders scored the opening goal in the 48th minute, which was cancelled out by Omari Hutchinson\u2019s strike just six minutes later. Rayan Cherki ended up scoring the winning goal in the 83rd minute as the contest finished with Pep Guardiola\u2019s men earning a hard-fought 2-1 win at the City Ground.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Manchester City<\/a> player fared during the clash against Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one solid save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet this afternoon.<\/p>\n

RB: Matheus Nunes \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nunes performed his defensive duties well and had a couple of bright moments in the final third.<\/p>\n

CB: Ruben Dias \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when needed and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.<\/p>\n

CB: Josko Gvardiol \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gvardiol gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and even managed to secure an assist.<\/p>\n

LB: Nico O\u2019Reilly \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

CM: Tijjani Reijnders \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reijnders caught the eye at times in the opponent\u2019s half and managed to score the opener in the 48th minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Nico Gonzalez \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well and made two good chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Bernardo Silva \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Silva cleared his lines when he could and managed to shine at times in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

RAM: Rayan Cherki \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused a lot of headaches for his marker in the final third and scored the winning goal with a good strike in the 83rd minute.<\/p>\n

LAM: Phil Foden \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Foden was a constant menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

ST: Erling Haaland \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a real handful for the Nottingham centre-backs but failed to register a goal this afternoon.<\/p>\n
