Liverpool welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 41st minute when Ryan Gravenberch found the back of the net. Florian Wirtz doubled Liverpool\u2019s advantage just a minute later as Arne Slot\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Santiago Bueno got a goal back for the visitors in the 51st minute as the contest finished with Liverpool securing a narrow 2-1 win at Anfield.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Liverpool<\/a> player fared during the clash against Wolves.<\/p>\n

GK: Alisson Becker \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a few solid saves during the game but failed to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

RB: Jeremie Frimpong \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frimpong was a positive influence at both ends of the field and was tidy with his passing.<\/p>\n

CB: Ibrahima Konate \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared the danger when needed and was a strong presence in the air.<\/p>\n

CB: Virgil Van Dijk \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

CM: Ryan Gravenberch \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gravenberch anchored the midfield with conviction and managed to score the opener with a good finish in the 41st minute.<\/p>\n

CM: Curtis Jones \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He got stuck in with some solid tackles and retained possession well in the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

RW: Federico Chiesa \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chiesa worked hard defensively but lacked quality in the final third.<\/p>\n

CAM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times in the final third, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n
