According to\u00a0<\/span>Caught Offside<\/span><\/a>, Tottenham Hotspur recently held talks with Crystal Palace star Tyrick Mitchell <\/span>to discuss <\/span>a potential move.<\/span> Notably, the left-back <\/span>is set to<\/span> become a free agent next summer as a renewal isn\u2019t in the plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tyrick Mitchell has been a performer for Crystal Palace<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Tyrick Mitchell<\/a> joined Crystal Palace from Brentford in the summer of 2016. <\/span>Since then <\/span>he has improved a lot and has<\/span> emerged as a key member of the squad. He has made a name for himself and <\/span>has interest from<\/span> multiple European clubs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mitchell has featured in 23 games in the ongoing season and has three assists <\/span>to<\/span> his name<\/span>.<\/span> He <\/span>is averaging<\/span> 2.7 tackles, 0.3 interceptions, and 2.1 clearances per game (stats via <\/span>whoscored<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The English left-back is physically strong, aggressive <\/span>in nature<\/span> and a reliable defender. He is extremely good in one-on-one situations and <\/span>does<\/span> timely tackles. He is quick with his feet and <\/span>is<\/span> a good carrier of the ball.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tottenham Hotspur <\/span>are short of<\/span> a left-back in their squad. Though they have Destiny Udogie <\/a><\/span>at their disposal<\/span>, the player hasn\u2019t been as good as he was last season. Hence, Ange Postecoglou would like to <\/span>bring<\/span> a new name next summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tyrick Mitchell could be a good choice considering his talent and ample Premier League experience. <\/span>He has been one of the best left-backs in the league over the past few seasons<\/span>. With<\/span> more experience, he is only going to get better and better.<\/span><\/p>\n
