According to a report from\u00a0<\/span>TBR<\/span><\/a>, West Ham United are keen on signing Manchester City<\/a> attacking sensation James McAtee. The youngster is frustrated with the lack of game-time and has already expressed his will to leave the Etihad Stadium.<\/span><\/p>\n

James McAtee isn\u2019t getting enough game time<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

James McAtee<\/a> came through the Manchester City Academy and worked hard to climb <\/span>up<\/span> the ladders. He has had two impressive loan spells to Sheffield United<\/span>. But<\/span> that hasn\u2019t helped him much in establishing himself as a mainstay since debuting in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

McAtee expected to get decent minutes in the ongoing campaign but that hasn\u2019t been the case. He has <\/span>got to feature<\/span> only in nine games so far, combining around 350 minutes.<\/span> In these many minutes, he has <\/span>managed to find<\/span> the back of the net once.<\/span><\/p>\n

The English attacker is versatile <\/span>to play<\/span> on the wings<\/span>, <\/span>or as an attacking midfielder. He has <\/span>got<\/span> good control over the ball and <\/span>possess<\/span> creative mind.<\/span> With dribbling, accurate passing, and through balls, he adds <\/span>a lot of<\/span> value in the final third.<\/span><\/p>\n

West Ham United need more creativity<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

West Ham United need more firepower in the offensive front to win battles. They are eager to bring James McAtee in the January window as the player can help the club make a sounding return in the second half of the season and position better on the points table.<\/span><\/p>\n

As McAtee has already expressed his will to leave his boyhood club to find game-time, Pep Guardiola<\/a> is unlikely to stand in his way. A reasonable offer from any club should be enough for the Citizens to sanction the move.<\/span><\/p>\n
