Turkish outlet Fotoma\u00e7<\/a> reports that agents have offered Everton striker Beto to Fenerbah\u00e7e. The Istanbul club are looking for new options up front this January. The Yellow Canaries are only three points behind league leaders Galatasaray right now. They see this winter window as a major chance to strengthen the team for the title race and their upcoming Europa League games.<\/p>\n

Agents reached out to the Turkish side about the 27-year-old, knowing he hasn\u2019t seen much game time at Goodison Park. Fenerbah\u00e7e liked Beto in the past<\/a>, but the money didn\u2019t work out in previous windows. Since the striker is barely playing for Merseyside lately, a move seems much more likely now.<\/p>\n

Everton striker Beto offered to Fenerbah\u00e7e<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The final call belongs to Fenerbah\u00e7e manager Domenico Tedesco. The 40-year-old coach took over from Jose Mourinho earlier this season but hasn\u2019t really started picking his own players yet. Tedesco needs to figure out if the Portuguese forward actually suits his tactics before the club make a real offer.<\/p>\n

Back in England, Beto\u2019s value has dropped quite a bit under David Moyes. Ever since Thierno Barry arrived last summer,<\/a> the French youngster has locked down the starting spot. That has left Beto with only eight Premier League starts all season<\/a>. Even though his contract runs until June 2027<\/a>, his lack of playing time suggests Everton would be happy to move the Guinea-Bissau man on and get his wages off the books.<\/p>\n

Selling Beto makes a lot of sense for Everton, as long as the price is right. The club can\u2019t really afford to have high-earners sitting on the bench, especially with Thierno Barry playing so well.<\/p>\n

David Moyes wants players with high energy who can finish their chances. While Beto is a physical threat, he has been too hot and cold for the Everton fans. If Fenerbah\u00e7e pay a good chunk of his salary or a decent transfer fee, letting him go would help the Toffees spend that money elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Still, Everton cannot let a senior striker go in the middle of the season without a backup plan. The club would need someone who is okay with being a sub but can still change a game when they come on.<\/p>\n

Looking at the market, Troy Parrott at AZ Alkmaar is an interesting option. The Irish international has come a long way in the Eredivisie, scoring more goals and linking up better with his teammates. Moyes would love his work rate, and he wouldn\u2019t be as expensive as other big-name targets.<\/p>\n

Santiago Castro from Bologna<\/a> is another choice who brings something totally different. He has a low centre of gravity and is great with the ball at his feet, which would give Moyes a \u201cPlan B\u201d compared to Barry\u2019s strength in the air.
