Reports coming out of Italy suggest Jack Harrison\u2019s time at Elland Road is coming to an end. It looks like he will definitely leave this month. Things are moving fast. The Italian side feel sure the 29-year-old will soon join La Viola as their third signing of the January window. This move comes after Fiorentina recently picked up Manor Solomon and Marco Brescianini. Manager Paolo Vanoli wants more attacking options for his 4-3-3 setup.<\/p>\n

Alfredo Pedulla<\/a>, another well-known Italian source, backs up these claims. He says the two clubs already have a basic deal in place. Harrison spent last season on loan at Everton<\/a> and made 38 appearances. However, he has barely played since returning to West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

Letting this transfer happen is a smart move for Leeds United. The team are focused on staying up in the Premier League. Harrison\u2019s recent game in the FA Cup win over Derby County showed he isn\u2019t clicking with Farke\u2019s tactics anymore. He lost the ball 19 times and didn\u2019t complete a single dribble.<\/p>\n

The fans who travelled to the game were clearly frustrated. Such games show the Englishman just isn\u2019t making an impact lately. He used to be the team\u2019s main creative spark; now, he doesn\u2019t change games the way he did back when Bielsa was in charge. On top of that, his contract runs until 2028. Keeping a bench player on such high wages is a big drain on the budget. The club are right to get those costs off their books.<\/p>\n

Fiorentina give Harrison a chance to start over. He can play on either wing, which fits perfectly into Vanoli\u2019s plans. Selling him lets Farke put those wages toward players the team needs right now. They could use more cover in defence or a better finisher to play alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin.<\/p>\n
