Liverpool have been interested in securing the services of the world-class 21-year-old midfielder of Bayern Munich<\/a>, Jamal Musiala, for a long time. However, they have now suffered a blow to their interest as Football Insider<\/a> reports that the Bavarian Giants are not ready to sell their prized asset in the winter transfer window that has just started. They will not entertain any offers from any club for their attacking midfielder.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich won\u2019t entertain offers for Jamal Musiala<\/h3>\n

Musiala was going to be part of Liverpool\u2019s long-term strategy and planning. The Reds had a plan that would have been built in the midfield around Musiala. The player is a game changer with his flair, creativity, dribbling abilities, and the uncanny ability to unlock any defence.<\/p>\n

His signing could have greatly complemented the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in the Reds\u2019 midfield. Musiala could have injected youthful vigour into the side and helped strengthen Liverpool\u2019s attacking playstyle, which could have seriously boosted their title challenge even more.<\/p>\n

Now that the Reds have missed Musiala, they need to look at other alternatives who could provide the same as him. However, there are very few players who have the qualities of Musiala. He has an uncanny knack for creating spaces, excellent vision, and the ability to create something from nothing. Musiala\u2019s calmness under pressure in big matches could have helped Liverpool\u2019s current team elevate their gameplay even more.<\/p>\n

How much of a loss would this be for Liverpool?<\/h3>\n

Moreover, Musiala is a versatile player. He can play as an attacking midfielder and also across the front three. The 21-year-old has a serious knack for scoring goals along with providing important assists for the team. He has scored 14 goals and provided three assists in the 22 games played across competitions so far this season. Hence, Liverpool will now have to do without a player of such a class.<\/p>\n

Now, the Reds have to look into their squad and nurture talents like Harvey Eliott and Curtis Jones. They need to give this duo time on the field to make them develop into a quality player. Liverpool management will have to plan something else so that their transfer ambitions don\u2019t get derailed with their failed attempt to get Musiala.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen what the Reds finally do in the ongoing transfer window. However, Bayern have seriously made their decision to retain their prized asset to continue their dominance in Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
