Newcastle United will face off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this Sunday afternoon as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Manchester City recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.<\/p>\n

Eddie Howe will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this clash. Harvey Barnes, Nick Woltemade and Sandro Tonali could all play from the start of this game.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Nick Pope will play in goal for the Magpies after he shipped in a couple of goals in his last appearance. Malick Thiaw will operate alongside Sven Botman at the heart of the Newcastle<\/a> backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

Lewis Miley will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Lewis Hall hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.<\/p>\n

Alex Murphy and Kieran Trippier will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Joelinton, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali will make up Howe\u2019s midfield. Their main focus would be to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

Joe Willock will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anthony Gordon will try to catch the eye as the left-sided wide player, while Harvey Barnes looks to give a good account of himself as the right-winger. Both of them will hope to get in behind the opponent\u2019s backline at every chance they can get.<\/p>\n

Nick Woltemade will lead the line for the Tyneside club up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third.<\/p>\n

Jacob Murphy is a slight concern ahead of this game, but could be fit to start on the bench. He might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.<\/p>\n
