Liverpool welcomed Burnley at Anfield earlier today as they looked to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 42nd minute thanks to Florian Wirtz\u2019s excellent finish. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Marcus Edwards equalised for the visitors in the 65th minute as Arne Slot\u2019s men had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Liverpool<\/a> player fared during the clash against Burnley.<\/p>\n

GK: Alisson Becker \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one good save at the back but couldn\u2019t do much about Edwards\u2019 finish in the second half.<\/p>\n

RB: Jeremie Frimpong \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frimpong earned the ball back once and engineered a few inviting chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

CB: Ibrahima Konate \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field, but failed to keep a clean sheet this afternoon.<\/p>\n

CB: Virgil Van Dijk \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Van Dijk put his foot through the ball when he could and was a good presence on the ball.<\/p>\n

LB: Milos Kerkez \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when he could and was a real menace going forward. Kerkez managed to create a handful of decent chances for his teammates from the left flank.<\/p>\n

CM: Curtis Jones \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jones anchored the midfield well and engineered some clear-cut chances in the final third. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Ryan Gravenberch \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Dutch talent was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

RW: Dominik Szoboszlai \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders, but missed his penalty in the first half.<\/p>\n

CAM: Florian Wirtz \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wirtz was a constant threat in the opponent\u2019s half and managed to score with a great strike in the 42nd minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Cody Gakpo \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a menace at times on the left flank, but didn\u2019t do enough to register a goal.<\/p>\n

ST: Hugo Ekitike \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ekitike was a real handful for the Burnley centre-backs but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

CM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His influence on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n

LW: Rio Ngumoha \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added some pace to Slot\u2019s attack.<\/p>\n

LB: Andy Robertson \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robertson made one good run with the ball.<\/p>\n
