Journalist Mark Brus<\/a> states Premier League clubs are keeping a much closer eye on Brentford<\/a> forward Kevin Schade. Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United have all put the German international at the top of their wishlist. While Spurs have been tracking Schade for a long time, they are now facing serious competition from Unai Emery\u2019s Villa and Eddie Howe\u2019s Newcastle.<\/p>\n

All three clubs see the 24-year-old as exactly what they need to add real pace and flexibility to their attack. Brentford, however, are in no rush to sell. Schade\u2019s contract runs until 2028, and the Bees want somewhere between \u00a350-60 million after he bagged six goals and three assists in the 2025\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n

Word is that Tottenham\u2019s scouts have admired Schade since his time at Freiburg, but things have changed lately. Aston Villa and Newcastle have joined the race because they both need more attacking depth for their European campaigns. People close to the club say Brentford don\u2019t want to lose such an important player in January.<\/p>\n

This means any buyer would likely have to pay way over the odds to get a deal done mid-season. We\u2019ll see in the next few weeks if anyone is actually ready to pay Brentford\u2019s high asking price for a player who has finally found his feet in England.<\/p>\n

Does Emery need Schade, and can Villa win the race?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Unai Emery needs a specific type of player to keep Villa in the Champions League spots, especially since Donyell Malen recently left for Roma<\/a>. Schade is a great fit for how they play. He brings the kind of direct, inside runs that Villa sometimes miss when Emery rests Morgan Rogers.<\/p>\n

Because he can play anywhere across the front three, Emery could give Ollie Watkins a break without losing a goal threat. The German winger\u2019s stats this year show he can handle the physical side of the Premier League, so he\u2019s a safer bet than a player coming from a different league.<\/p>\n

Still, securing him won\u2019t be easy. Tottenham have the financial power and have been interested for years, while Newcastle are desperate for a new right-winger. Villa\u2019s recent spending limits might mean they have to get creative with the payments, perhaps using add-ons or instalments.<\/p>\n

Brentford might just say no to that if Spurs offer the full amount in cash upfront. Ultimately, while Schade would be a superb addition to the Villa Park squad, that \u00a350m+ price tag and the heavy competition make this a tough deal to pull off.
