If a recent report from The Daily Record<\/a> is believed to be true, Celtic are eyeing a cut-price deal for Jonas Wind, who is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury. The Wolfsburg \u2018number 9\u2019 is expected to return to action by the end of this month, but the French heavyweights Lyon could rival the Hoops, given the centre-forward\u2019s availability on a Bosman in the summer window.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old Denmark international progressed through the academy ranks of Aved\u00f8re, Rosenh\u00f8j Boldklub and FC Copenhagen before breaking into the latter\u2019s first-team squad. He depicted his expertise high up the pitch while featuring for the Danish giants, and eventually earned a \u20ac12m transfer to the Bundesliga four years back.<\/p>\n
