Real Madrid welcomed Monaco at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the fifth minute when Kylian Mbappe found the back of the net. Mbappe doubled his team\u2019s advantage in the 26th minute as Alvaro Arbeloa\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Franco Mastantuono made it 3-0 to Real Madrid in the 51st minute. Thilo Kehrer scored an unfortunate own goal just four minutes later. Vinicius Junior got his name on the scoresheet as well in the 63rd minute. Jordan Teze pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 72nd minute. Jude Bellingham scored his side\u2019s sixth goal just eight minutes later. The contest finished with Real Madrid securing a dominant 6-1 victory in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Real Madrid<\/a> player performed during the clash against Monaco.<\/p>\n

GK: Thibaut Courtois \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made his fair share of saves during the game and did enough to restrict the opposition to just one goal.<\/p>\n

RB: Federico Valverde \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valverde was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got a couple of assists to his name.<\/p>\n

CB: Raul Asencio \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He kept things solid inside his half in the first 45 minutes and was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n

CB: Dean Huijsen \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spaniard made a few crucial interceptions at the back and won a couple of aerial duels.<\/p>\n

LB: Eduardo Camavinga \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He performed his defensive duties and made some promising runs with the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Arda Guler \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guler came back to defend when needed and ran the show inside the opponent\u2019s half. He ended the game with an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

CM: Jude Bellingham \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bellingham was a constant menace in the final third and managed to find the back of the net in the 80th minute.<\/p>\n

He caused a few headaches for his marker and did well to score early in the second half.<\/p>\n

ST: Kylian Mbappe \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mbappe scored a brace early in the first half, which gave Los Blancos the platform to secure a dominant win tonight.<\/p>\n

LW: Vinicius Junior \u2013 10\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders. Vinicius Jr. ended the game with one goal and two assists to his name.<\/p>\n

He made a poor error at the back.<\/p>\n
