West Ham United entertained Sunderland at the London Stadium this Saturday as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Hammers made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 14th minute when Crysencio Summerville found the back of the net. Jarrod Bowen doubled West Ham\u2019s advantage from the penalty spot just 14 minutes later before Mateus Fernandes scored another goal in the 43rd minute. Nuno Espiritio Santo\u2019s men went into the half-time break 3-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Brian Brobbey got a goal back for the visitors in the 66th minute as West Ham earned an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each West Ham United<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Black Cats.<\/p>\n

GK: Alphonse Areola \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one good save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet this afternoon.<\/p>\n

RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wan-Bissaka did his fair share of defending and made one good chance going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Konstantinos Mavropanos \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.<\/p>\n

CB: Jean-Clair Todibo \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Todibo cleared his lines when needed and was tidy with his passing.<\/p>\n

LB: Oliver Scarles \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned possession back twice inside his half but struggled to influence the game inside the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

RW: Jarrod Bowen \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bowen was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score his penalty. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Tomas Soucek \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could and made one key chance in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Mateus Fernandes \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandes was a positive influence at both ends of the field and managed to score late in the first half.<\/p>\n

LW: Crysencio Summerville \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caused a lot of headaches for his marker and was responsible for scoring the opener in the 14th minute.<\/p>\n

CAM: Pablo \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pablo failed to get into the flow of the game and was substituted in the 70th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Valentin Castellanos \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and was replaced in the 74th minute.<\/p>\n
