Manchester City will welcome Galatasaray at the Etihad Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian giants managed to earn a solid 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Nathan Ake could all play from the start of this game.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in goal for the Mancunian club after he kept a clean sheet in his last appearance. Abdukodir Khusanov will function alongside Nathan Ake at the heart of Man City<\/a>\u2018s backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

Matheus Nunes will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Nico O\u2019Reilly looks to put in a solid performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent\u2019s half.<\/p>\n

Max Alleyne will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bernardo Silva and Tijjani Reijnders will anchor the midfield for Man City as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineering some decent chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

The talented trio of Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki will play just ahead of them as part of Guardiola\u2019s attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Mancunian giants want to secure a convincing win in midweek.<\/p>\n

Rodri and Divine Mukasa will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Erling Haaland will spearhead Guardiola\u2019s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real threat in the final third.<\/p>\n

Omar Marmoush will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Man City are in need of a goal by then.<\/p>\n
