In a recent report<\/a>, The Athletic\u2019s David Ornstein revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> forward Jorgen Strand Larsen wants to join Leeds United<\/a>. It is understood that the Norwegian striker favours a move to the West Yorkshire club this month.<\/p>\n

Larsen\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Larsen has enjoyed a decent campaign at the Midlands club as he has put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 25-year-old has scored six goals and earned two assists in 25 matches for Wolves this season on all fronts.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian talent has caught the eye at times inside the opponent\u2019s half by averaging 1.30 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League<\/a>. He has kept 35% of his attempts on target (stats via fbref.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Molineux Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030. Hence, it won\u2019t be easy for the Whites to sign him on the cheap this year.<\/p>\n

Should Leeds United Boss Daniel Farke Move In For Larsen?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Larsen is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create a few promising chances for others around him in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian talent can contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. Standing at 1.93m, Larsen can use his strong frame to win a few aerial duels in the opposition half. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at the Yorkshire club if they can devise a way to get him on board this year.<\/p>\n

We can expect Larsen to add more quality and depth to Leeds boss Daniel Farke\u2019s attack. He is more than capable of nailing down a regular first-team spot at Elland Road in the coming years.<\/p>\n

At 25, Larsen has got his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Whites to consider this January or at the end of this campaign.
