Liverpool entertained Qarabag at Anfield earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 15th minute thanks to Alexis Mac Allister\u2019s effort. Florian Wirtz doubled his team\u2019s advantage just six minutes later as Arne Slot\u2019s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Salah made it 3-0 to Liverpool in the 50th minute before Hugo Ekitike joined in on the goalscoring act in the 57th minute. Mac Allister scored again just four minutes later. Federico Chiesa came off the bench and scored a late goal as the Merseyside club earned a dominant 6-0 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Liverpool<\/a> player fared during the clash against Qarabag.<\/p>\n

GK: Alisson Becker \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a couple of solid saves at the back and kept an easy clean sheet tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Jeremie Frimpong \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frimpong had to be replaced in the third minute.<\/p>\n

CB: Ryan Gravenberch \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He earned possession back twice and did enough to keep a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

CB: Virgil Van Dijk \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Van Dijk dealt with the danger when he could and managed to secure a hat-trick of assists.<\/p>\n

LB: Andy Robertson \u2013 8.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He managed to catch the eye at both ends of the field and deserves credit for creating a lot of key chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

CM: Alexis Mac Allister \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mac Allister ran the show inside the Qarabag half and has got a couple of goals to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CM: Dominik Szoboszlai \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He managed to shine at times in the final third and has got an assist to his name.<\/p>\n

CM: Florian Wirtz \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wirtz was a real menace in the final third and managed to score in the 21st minute.<\/p>\n

RW: Mohamed Salah \u2013 9\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salah caused all sorts of headaches for the opposition defenders and did well to score in the 50th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Hugo Ekitike \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a real handful for the Qarabag centre-halves and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

LW: Cody Gakpo \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gakpo caused a lot of chaos in the final third but failed to register a goal.<\/p>\n

RB: Wataru Endo \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He had a solid game at right-back.<\/p>\n

LW: Rio Ngumoha \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ngumoha made a few dangerous runs with the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Trey Nyoni \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

His impact on the game was minimal.<\/p>\n
