Tottenham Hotspur lost another match in the Premier League as they put their swords down against Newcastle United<\/a> at a scoreline of 1-2. <\/span>It\u2019s an alarming situation for the former side as they <\/span>are struggling<\/span> to do well despite having a decent start earlier <\/span>on<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this defeat, Spurs find themselves in the bottom half of the points table. Their next game is against Liverpool in the EFL Cup and we all know what happened when these two sides met the last time. Anyways, let\u2019s shed light on today\u2019s performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brandon Austin (8\/10) \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>First competitive start for the third-choice goalkeeper <\/span>and<\/span> he did put on a solid foot forward despite leaking two goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pedro Porro<\/a> (7\/10):<\/span><\/strong> The right-back contributed significantly in both aspects of the game but unfortunately, it wasn\u2019t enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

Radu Dragusin (3\/10):<\/span><\/strong> A <\/span>really <\/span>poor<\/span> performance<\/span> as he<\/span> struggled throughout the match and failed to keep things tight at the backline.<\/span><\/p>\n

Archie Gray (7\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Should be praised for doing decent enough despite being ill and playing out of position.<\/span><\/p>\n

Djed Spence (6\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Was<\/span> a weak point as the left-back in the first half but improved when he was assigned the centre-back role in the second 45 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pape Sarr (7\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Did provide a lot of work and, pressed the opponents with intensity to create all sorts of troubles in the middle of the park.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lucas Bergvall<\/a> (8\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Looked confident on the ball but lacked <\/span>a bit of<\/span> clarity when it came to off-the-ball duties.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dejan Kulusevski (5\/10):<\/span><\/strong> He was handed the armband for today\u2019s clash but couldn\u2019t justify it with the performance as he failed to create a clear opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brennan Johnson (5\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Brennan didn\u2019t look good either<\/span>, he<\/span> also failed to create an impact with his presence on the field.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dominic Solanke (7\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Scored the only goal for Tottenham Hotspur. <\/span>Must<\/span> be disappointed <\/span>to not<\/span> convert another chance in the second half<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Timo Werner (3\/10):<\/span><\/strong> Could\u2019ve created a difference but failed miserably.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
