The Villans managed to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win over RB Salzburg recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.<\/p>\n<p>Unai Emery will set his players up in a 4-4-1-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this game. Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres and Matty Cash could all play from the start of this contest.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Emiliano Martinez will feature in between the sticks for the Villans after he shipped in a couple of goals in his last outing. Ezri Konsa will function alongside Pau Torres at the heart of the Aston Villa backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Matty Cash will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Ian Maatsen looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to make some overlapping runs out in the wide areas.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan Rogers will play in the number ten position. He has to carry most of the creative burden for the Villans in the final third.<\/p>\n<p>Harvey Elliott and Kadan Young will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ollie Watkins will spearhead Emery\u2019s attack up top if he can recover in time for this game.
