Arsenal will entertain Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in this EFL Cup semi-final second leg clash. The Gunners managed to earn a dominant 4-0 win over Leeds United recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first XI for this contest. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli could all play from the start of this game.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kepa Arrizabalaga will feature in between the sticks for the Gunners as he looks to keep a clean sheet this Tuesday night. William Saliba will continue to operate alongside Gabriel at the heart of the Arsenal<\/a> backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

Jurrien Timber will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Piero Hincapie hopes to pur in a solid display on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.<\/p>\n

Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Martin Odegaard will make up Arsenal\u2019s midfield. Their main focus would be to win the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

Kai Havertz and Eberechi Eze will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gabriel Martinelli will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank, while Noni Madueke looks to put his pace to good use on the right-wing.<\/p>\n

Viktor Gyokeres will lead the charge for the North London club up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace in the final third.<\/p>\n

Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.<\/p>\n
