Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast<\/a>, journalist Pete O\u2019Rourke claimed that Liverpool are keeping a keen eye on Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. O\u2019Rourke said,<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see Palace willing to let him go with everything else that\u2019s been going on at the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no doubt there will be interest in Adam Wharton coming to summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

\u201cLiverpool are admirers of him, Manchester United are also admirers of him as well and there\u2019s interest from other Premier Leagues and from abroad.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I\u2019m sure Palace are readying themselves for interest and offers for Adam Wharton in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll face a real fight to keep hold of him in the summer window with the likes of Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea plus others probably all very much interested in the 21 year old.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wharton\u2019s Impressive Form In The Premier League<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Wharton has enjoyed a good run of form at the London club and deserves credit for putting in a run of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The 21-year-old has secured three assists in 31 matches for the Eagles this season across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The English talent is currently among the best midfielders in the Premier League. Thus, Liverpool will do well to lure him to Anfield next summer.<\/p>\n

Will Wharton Be A Good Option For Liverpool Boss Arne Slot?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Wharton is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.<\/p>\n

The English sensation can chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal for his team. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wharton would add more bite and steel to Arne Slot\u2019s midfield. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club.<\/p>\n
