Arsenal entertained Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result at home in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg clash. The Gunners made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta\u2019s men finally managed to score the winning goal in injury time thanks to Kai Havertz\u2019s effort. The match ended with Arsenal earning a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.<\/p>\n

The Gunners ended up winning the tie by a 4-2 aggregate scoreline.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Blues.<\/p>\n

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a couple of solid saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet tonight.<\/p>\n

Timber performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: William Saliba \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and dealt with the danger when he could.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gabriel put his foot through the ball when needed and was a strong presence in the air.<\/p>\n

LB: Piero Hincapie \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Eberechi Eze \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eze made one good chance in the final third but was quiet for most of his time on the field.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zubimendi anchored the midfield well and was good on the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield with conviction and managed to secure an assist.<\/p>\n

RW: Noni Madueke \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Madueke struggled to threaten the opponent\u2019s goal and was replaced in the 68th minute.<\/p>\n

ST: Viktor Gyokeres \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He failed to cause problems for the Chelsea defenders and was substituted in the 68th minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martinelli came back to defend when he could, but offered very little in the final third.<\/p>\n
