In a recent report,\u00a0Het Laatste Nieuws<\/a> claimed that Arsenal<\/a> are in the running for Club Brugge midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic. It has been mentioned that the Gunners would have to rival Chelsea in the race to land the Serbian talent this summer.<\/p>\n

Stankovic\u2019s Impressive Form In Belgian Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Stankovic has caught the eye with his performances at the centre of Club Brugge\u2019s midfield this season. The Serbian talent has banged in seven goals and earned four assists in 37 appearances for the Belgian club in this campaign so far on all fronts.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old is currently among the best young midfielders in the Jupiler Pro League. Thus, Arsenal would do well to get a deal done for Stankovic this summer.<\/p>\n

His current contract with Club Brugge will expire in the summer of 2029. Thus, the Gunners would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting him at the end of this season.<\/p>\n

Arsenal Are In The Running For Stankovic: Is He A Prospect For The Future?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Stankovic can put in a tireless shift for his team defensively. He can shoot the ball with venom from long range and has got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third.<\/p>\n

The Serbian whikid is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from midfield. However, the jury is still out on whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League<\/a> if the Gunners manage to snap him up this summer.<\/p>\n
