In a recent interview with talkSPORT<\/a>, former player Jason Cundy urged Chelsea<\/a> to move in for Atletico Madrid<\/a> forward Julian Alvarez. Cundy said,<\/p>\n

Alvarez\u2019s Impressive Form In La Liga<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alvarez is having an impressive campaign at the Madrid club as he has produced a series of eye-catching performances for them in the final third. The 26-year-old has banged in 11 goals and picked up five assists in 32 matches for Atletico Madrid this season across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The Argentine international is among the best forwards in La Liga when he is playing with confidence on the field. Thus, it is no wonder that the Blues are hoping to get a deal done for Alvarez next summer.<\/p>\n

Should Chelsea Boss Liam Rosenior Get Alvarez On Board?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alvarez is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.<\/p>\n

The Argentine talent can chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team in the final third. Alvarez is primarily a centre-forward but can also operate as a winger if asked to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League from his time at Manchester City and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Alvarez would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Liam Rosenior\u2019s attack. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge in the coming years.<\/p>\n
