In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Graeme Bailey revealed that Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> have been offered a chance to sign Real Madrid<\/a> defender Antonio Rudiger. It has been stated that Spurs will have to compete with Crystal Palace and West Ham United in the race to land the German talent next summer.<\/p>\n

Rudiger\u2019s Impressive Form In German Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Rudiger has missed a lot of games this season due to injury, but has done well to serve as a good, rotational piece in Real Madrid\u2019s squad. The Germany international has made just nine appearances for Los Blancos so far in this campaign across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old can still be a decent contributor on the defensive end of the field when he is playing regularly and with confidence on the field. He has got a wealth of experience at the highest level, so Spurs would do well to bring him on board this summer.<\/p>\n

Is Rudiger A Good Signing For Tottenham Hotspur?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Rudiger is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and excels at playing his way out from the back.<\/p>\n

Standing at 1.90m, the German sensation can use his strong frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League from his spell at Chelsea and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at Tottenham.<\/p>\n

We can expect Rudiger to bring more bite and steel to the North London club\u2019s defence. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming years.<\/p>\n
