Arsenal will entertain Wigan Athletic at the Emirates Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a good result in the FA Cup. The Gunners were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw away at Brentford recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways in domestic football.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first team for this game. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus could all play from the start of this contest.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kepa Arrizabalaga will play in between the sticks for the North London club as he looks to keep a clean sheet at the Emirates this weekend. William Saliba could return to function alongside Cristhian Mosquera at the heart of the Arsenal<\/a> backline as they look to keep a good shape on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

Ben White will get the nod to impress as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will be instructed to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they can get.<\/p>\n

Jurrien Timber and Gabriel will get a well-deserved rest on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.<\/p>\n

Midfield<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Eberechi Eze, Christian Norgaard and Martin Odegaard will make up Arteta\u2019s midfield. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create enough clear-cut chances for Arsenal to win this contest.<\/p>\n

Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice will be rested on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.<\/p>\n

Attack<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gabriel Martinelli will try to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player, while Bukayo Saka hopes to make a difference from the right flank. Both of them will try to get in behind the Wigan backline at every chance they can get.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Jesus will spearhead Arteta\u2019s attack down the middle. He has to find a way to cause a lot of problems for the opposition centre-backs during the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

Leandro Trossard and Viktor Gyokeres will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the final quarter if required.<\/p>\n
