Speaking on the\u00a0Transfer Insider podcast<\/a>, journalist Pete O\u2019Rourke revealed that Manchester City are among the clubs eager to sign Nottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White. O\u2019Rourke said,<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it\u2019s gonna be an interesting one with regards to Morgan Gibbs-White\u2019s long term future.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always going to be interest in a player like Gibbs-White. Although Forrest won\u2019t want to lose him, I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll probably will be expecting interest in him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s obviously talk that Tottenham could rekindle their interest, Manchester City have been long-term admirers of the player as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Morgan Gibbs-White, he\u2019s going to have no shortage of interest if he wants to leave Nottingham Forest as well, but it\u2019ll take a big money deal to get him out.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether or not Forest are relegated, you\u2019re probably looking around the \u00a360-70m mark for any club interested in Gibbs-White, and there will be a number of Premier League clubs who will be interested in the former Wolves man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gibbs-White\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gibbs-White has put in a series of impressive displays for the Midlands club in the Premier League this season. The English talent has registered seven goals and picked up four assists in 35 matches for Nottingham in this campaign so far across various competitions.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old\u2019s current deal at the City Ground will expire in the summer of 2028. Therefore, it won\u2019t be easy for Man City to sign him on the cheap later this year.<\/p>\n

Will Gibbs-White Be A Good Signing For Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gibbs-White can strike the ball with venom from long range and has got the vision to play some killer passes in and around the opponent\u2019s penalty area. He is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his side.<\/p>\n

The English sensation is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also function as a box-to-box midfielder or as a right-winger if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at the Mancunian club.<\/p>\n

Gibbs-White will bring more quality and depth to Man City<\/a> head coach Pep Guardiola\u2019s attack. He has what it takes to compete for regular first-team football at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n
