In a recent report<\/a>, Calciomercato claimed that Chelsea are set to rival Liverpool for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer. It has been stated that the Blues are showing interest in bringing the Brazilian centre-back to Stamford Bridge this summer.<\/p>\n

Bremer\u2019s Impressive Form In Serie A<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 28-year-old is having a solid campaign at the Turin club as he has produced a string of impressive displays for them on the defensive end of the field. Bremer has scored three goals and secured a couple of assists in 19 matches for Juventus this season across all competitions.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian sensation is currently among the best centre-backs in Serie A when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. Therefore, Chelsea would do well to get a deal done for him next summer.<\/p>\n

Should Chelsea Boss Liam Rosenior Go For Bremer?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bremer is a tough-tackling defender who can read the danger well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and can make some important last-gasp blocks for his team.<\/p>\n

Standing at 1.88m, the Brazilian talent can use his strong frame to win his fair share of aerial duels. Bremer is even proficient at playing his way out from the back.
