In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Pete O\u2019Rourke revealed that Manchester City are hoping to land Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento. It has been mentioned that the Mancunian giants could move in for the English defender next summer.<\/p>\n

Livramento is having a solid campaign at the Tyneside club as he has produced a string of impressive displays on the right side of their backline. The 23-year-old has secured one assist in 19 matches for Newcastle<\/a> this season across all competitions.<\/p>\n

Is Livramento A Decent Option For Manchester City?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Livramento loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive.<\/p>\n

The English sensation has got the eye to play some decisive passes from the wide areas and is a strong runner with the ball. Livramento is primarily a right-back but can also fill in as a left-back if asked to do so. He has already got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at Man City.<\/p>\n

Livramento would no doubt bring more quality and depth to Pep Guardiola\u2019s defensive department. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Etihad Stadium in the coming years.<\/p>\n

At 23, Livramento has got his best years ahead of him, which makes him a good option for the Mancunian giants to pursue later this year. He might even help Man City compete for some major trophies in the future.
