Arsenal faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a strong start to the game and got their noses ahead in the ninth minute thanks to Bukayo Saka\u2019s effort. Mikel Arteta\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

The North London club controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes and earned a narrow 1-0 win away from home.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Arsenal<\/a> player fared during the clash against the Seagulls.<\/p>\n

GK: David Raya \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raya made a few solid saves at the back and did well to keep a clean sheet tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Jurrien Timber \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and has got an assist to show for his efforts.<\/p>\n

CB: Cristhian Mosquera \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mosquera performed his defensive duties well and did enough to secure the shutout.<\/p>\n

CB: Gabriel \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a lot of crucial clearances on the defensive end of the field.<\/p>\n

LB: Piero Hincapie \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave a good account of himself defensively and made one good run with the ball.<\/p>\n

CM: Martin Zubimendi \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zubimendi anchored the midfield well but offered very little going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Declan Rice \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both halves.<\/p>\n

RW: Bukayo Saka \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saka managed to cause a few headaches for his marker and scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute.<\/p>\n

CAM: Eberechi Eze \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He came back to defend when he could, but lacked quality in the final third.<\/p>\n

LW: Gabriel Martinelli \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martinelli was quiet for most of his time on the field.<\/p>\n

ST: Viktor Gyokeres \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one key chance in the final third, but never looked like he would score.<\/p>\n

CM: Kai Havertz \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Havertz was not shy of having a strike at goal.<\/p>\n

LW: Leandro Trossard \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was a threat up top.<\/p>\n

LB: Riccardo Calafiori \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Calafiori was solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Christian Norgaard \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n
