In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes stated that Liverpool are eyeing a move for Real Madrid defender Dean Huijsen. It has been mentioned that the Reds are keeping a keen eye on the Spanish centre-back\u2019s situation at the Madrid club.<\/p>\n

Huijsen\u2019s Impressive Form In Spanish Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Huijsen is having a solid campaign at the La Liga club as he has produced a series of impressive displays at the heart of their backline. The 20-year-old has registered one goal and two assists in 29 appearances for Los Blancos this season across various competitions.<\/p>\n

The Spanish talent is currently among the best young centre-backs in European football. Thus, Liverpool would do well to lure him to Anfield this summer.<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for the Reds to land him on a cut-price deal later this year.<\/p>\n

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Move In For Huijsen?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Huijsen is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and is a tidy passer as well.<\/p>\n

Standing at 1.97m, the Spanish sensation can use his strong presence to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> from his time at Bournemouth and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We can expect Huijsen to add more bite and steel to Arne Slot\u2019s defence. He is more than capable of fighting for a regular first-team spot at Anfield in the coming seasons. The Spanish defensive ace could even serve as an ideal successor to Virgil Van Dijk at the Merseyside club in the long run.<\/p>\n
