In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes mentioned that Liverpool have set their sights on Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde. It has been stated that the Reds are eyeing a move to bring the Spanish talent to Merseyside this summer.<\/p>\n

Balde\u2019s Decent Form In La Liga<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Balde has served as an important member of Hansi Flick\u2019s squad during this campaign so far. He has managed to put in a handful of impressive displays on the left side of Barca\u2019s defence. The Spanish full-back has featured in 34 matches for the Catalan giants this season, picking up three assists in the process across all fronts.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old is currently among the best young full-backs in Spain. Thus, Liverpool would do well to lure him to Anfield at the end of this campaign.<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Nou Camp will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it difficult for the Reds to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.<\/p>\n

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Snap Balde Up?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Balde is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and can create the odd chance for his teammates to score from the left flank.<\/p>\n

The Spanish sensation is primarily a left-back but can also function as a left-sided wide player if told to do so by his manager. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League<\/a> if the Reds manage to sign him this summer.<\/p>\n

Balde would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Liverpool<\/a> head coach Arne Slot\u2019s squad. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n
