In a recent report<\/a>, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. It has been revealed that the Gunners are monitoring the development of the French talent, but will face competition from Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in pursuit of him this summer.<\/p>\n

Bouaddi\u2019s Impressive Rise In French Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bouaddi has enjoyed a decent run of form at the heart of Lille\u2019s midfield in this campaign so far. The French midfield ace has participated in 36 matches for the French outfit this season, securing one assist across all fronts.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old is currently among the best young central midfielders in French football. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Gunners are showing interest in recruiting him later this year.<\/p>\n

His current contract at the French club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap later this year.<\/p>\n

Arsenal Are Keeping Tabs On Bouaddi: Is He A Prospect For The Future?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bouaddi is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and can shoot the ball well from long range.<\/p>\n

The French talent has also got the eye to play some decisive passes in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. However, only time will tell whether he can cope with the physicality and high intensity of the Premier League<\/a> if the Gunners manage to snap him up in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n

We can expect Bouaddi to bring more quality and depth to Arsenal<\/a> head coach Mikel Arteta\u2019s midfield in the long run. He is already good enough to serve as a good, rotational piece in the North London club\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n

At 18, Bouaddi has got the potential to be a future star in English football as long as he continues to improve with each season. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future.
