In a recent segment on Youtube<\/a>, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that Manchester City are in advanced talks to recruit Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson. Romano said,<\/p>\n

\u201cMan City are pushing to sign Elliot Anderson. They are in advanced talks with his agents in advanced conversations in terms of \u2026 just asking about the situation of the player.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo nothing has been agreed, nothing has been done. Nothing has been completed but I mean advanced conversations about inquiring for the player.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo Man City have been clear. They see Elliot Anderson as a target. Again, we are not yet at the stage of personal terms agreed. We are not yet at the stage of deal done. We are not yet at the stage of deal final stages, but for sure Manchester City confirmed their interest to those close to Anderson.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anderson is having a solid campaign at the Midlands club as he has put in a run of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The 23-year-old has found the back of the net twice and earned three assists in 41 appearances for Nottingham this season in multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The English sensation is currently among the best central midfielders in the Premier League. Thus, it is no wonder that Man City are showing interest in signing him this summer.<\/p>\n

Will Anderson Be A Good Fit For Manchester City?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Anderson loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to earn possession back for his side inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind clearing the danger when needed and is a good passer of the ball as well.<\/p>\n

The English midfield ace can contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at the Mancunian club.<\/p>\n

Anderson would add more energy and dynamism to Man City boss Pep Guardiola\u2019s midfield. He is more than capable of nailing down a regular starting spot at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n
