It has been claimed that the Gunners are eyeing a move to bring the French talent to the Emirates Stadium at the end of this season.

Le Fee’s Impressive Form In English Football

Le Fee has caught the eye at times with his performances at the heart of Sunderland’s midfield in this campaign so far. The 26-year-old has found the back of the net five times and earned four assists in 33 matches for the Black Cats this season in all competitions.

The French sensation is currently among the most talented midfielders in the Premier League. Therefore, it is no wonder that the Gunners are hoping to land him in the summer transfer window.

His current contract at the Wearside club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Arsenal to consider later this year.

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, ENGLAND – MARCH 22: Dan Burn of Newcastle United (obscured) challenges Enzo Le Fee of Sunderland during the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Sunderland at St James’ Park on March 22, 2026 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and is an accurate passer as well.

The French midfielder can even chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team. Le Fee is primarily a box-to-box midfielder, but can also function in the number ten position or as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so.

We can expect Le Fee to bring more depth to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta’s midfield. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Emirates Stadium this summer.

At 26, Le Fee has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Gunners to consider at the end of this campaign. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the high expectations surrounding a move to the North London club. Still, the Gunners would be wise to go for a midfield of his quality and skill set this summer.

In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Arsenal have set their sights on Sunderland midfielder Enzo Le Fee.
