In a recent report<\/a>, journalist James Marshment stated that Leeds United<\/a> midfielder Ao Tanaka is gathering interest from Germany. It has been mentioned that Union Berlin, FC Schalke 04, and Hannover 96 are all eyeing a move to sign the Japanese talent from the West Yorkshire club this summer.<\/p>\n

Tanaka\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tanaka has enjoyed a decent run of form at the West Yorkshire club as he has produced a run of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The 27-year-old has found the back of the net on three occasions in 24 matches for the Whites this season across various competitions.<\/p>\n

The Japanese talent is currently serving as a useful presence in Leeds boss Daniel Farke\u2019s squad. However, the lack of regular first-team chances has put his long-term future at the Yorkshire club in doubt.<\/p>\n

Should Leeds United Head Coach Daniel Farke Move Tanaka On This Summer?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tanaka is a solid tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer as well. Tanaka can strike the ball with power from long range and can chip in by scoring the odd goal for his team from midfield.<\/p>\n

The Japanese talent is quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and remains an important member of Leeds\u2019 match-day squad. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as an attacking midfielder or as a defensive midfielder if needed.<\/p>\n

Therefore, Leeds should consider keeping hold of Tanaka beyond the end of this campaign as he could help them compete across all fronts in the coming years.<\/p>\n

At 27, Tanaka\u2019s best years are ahead of him, so Farke should only consider moving him on if he receives a good offer for his services in the upcoming transfer window.
