In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes claimed that Manchester United are locked in a three-way battle for Barcelona ace Ferran Torres. It has been revealed that the Red Devils would have to compete with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid in the race to land the Spanish attacker this summer.<\/p>\n

Torres\u2019 Impressive Form In La Liga<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Torres is having a productive campaign at the La Liga club as he has put in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old has banged in 16 goals and earned one assist in 40 matches for Barcelona this season across all fronts.<\/p>\n

The Spain international is currently among the best forwards in La Liga. Hence, it is no surprise that Man United are hoping to get a deal done for him this summer.<\/p>\n

His current contract at the Nou Camp will run out at the end of next season, which could open the door for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap later this year.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Are Locked In A Three-Way Battle For Torres: Is He Worth The Fight?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Torres is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.<\/p>\n

The Spanish sensation can contribute by scoring his fair share of goals up top. Torres is primarily a centre-forward but can also fill in as a winger on either flank if required. He is already familiar with the Premier League<\/a> from his time at Manchester City and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

We can expect Torres to bring more firepower to Man United<\/a> head coach Michael Carrick\u2019s attack. He is good enough to fight for a regular first-team at the Mancunian club in the coming seasons.<\/p>\n
