Tottenham Hotspur are set to face Hoffenheim in an away fixture in the Europa League this midweek. The former side have lost their last two games and will be in desperate need to get their train back on track on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spurs are ninth on the Europa League points table, which means they need to buckle up if they wish to earn a direct qualification to the playoffs. <\/span>However, it won\u2019t be easy as Ange Postecoglou\u2019s men <\/span>are struggling<\/span> to find form recently.<\/span><\/p>\n

Defence<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As Antonin Kinsky is ineligible to play with Guglielmo Vicario and Fraser Forster <\/span>having<\/span> fitness concerns, Brandon Austin is likely to operate between the sticks. Pedro Porro had a bad outing but should <\/span>be keeping<\/span> his right-back spot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ben Davies<\/a> <\/span>is likely to<\/span> form the heart of the defence alongside Radu Dragusin and the former will share a big responsibility of the defence. Djed Spence did well as the left full-back and could be retained for this role this time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Midfield<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As Davies takes Archie Gray\u2019s place in the backline, the latter might be used in the midfield. <\/span>He will <\/span>be operating alongside the likes of Lucas Bergvall and<\/span> in the middle of the park, leaving no space for Pape Matar Sarr<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attack<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be surprised if Ange Postecoglou<\/a> makes couple of changes in the attacking unit. Only Dejan Kulusevski is expected to be retained while James Maddison and Son Heung-min should <\/span>be making<\/span> way for Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Apart from the goalkeeper woes, Dominic Solanke, Brennan Johnson, Yves Bissouma, Micky van den Ven and Cristian Romero are also sidelined for this fixture.<\/span><\/p>\n
