In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester United have set their sights on Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali. It has been claimed that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to bring the Italy international to Old Trafford in the upcoming transfer window.<\/p>\n

Tonali\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tonali has enjoyed a decent run of form at the Tyneside club as he has produced a run of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net three times and earned seven assists in 47 matches for Newcastle this season across all fronts.<\/p>\n

The Italian talent is currently among the best central midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that Man United are hoping to land Tonali this summer.<\/p>\n

His current contract at St. James\u2019 Park will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap later this year.<\/p>\n

Will Tonali Be A Good Choice For Manchester United?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tonali is a solid tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer as well.<\/p>\n

The Italy international can even chip in by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team. Tonali is primarily a defensive midfielder but can also fill in as a box-to-box midfielder if asked to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to adjust to life at the Mancunian club.<\/p>\n

We can expect Tonali to add more bite and steel to Man United<\/a> head coach Michael Carrick\u2019s midfield. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford next season.<\/p>\n
