Real Madrid entertained Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win at home in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. Los Blancos made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 41st minute when Luis Diaz found the back of the net. Alvaro Arbeloa\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Harry Kane doubled Bayern\u2019s advantage in the 46th minute. However, Kylian Mbappe got a goal back for the Madrid giants in the 74th minute. The match ended with Los Blancos suffering a tough 2-1 loss at the Bernabeu.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Real Madrid<\/a> player fared during the clash against Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n

GK: Andriy Lunin \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made a couple of important saves at the back but conceded two goals tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alexander-Arnold performed his defensive duties well and managed to secure an assist for setting up Mbappe\u2019s goal in the second half.<\/p>\n

CB: Antonio Rudiger \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He cleared the danger when he could, but failed to keep things solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CB: Dean Huijsen \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Huijsen did his fair share of defending but struggled to impress during his time on the pitch.<\/p>\n

LB: Alvaro Carreras \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He caught the eye at times on both halves, but made a costly error at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Federico Valverde \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valverde was full of energy and running in the middle of the park.<\/p>\n

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He anchored the midfield well but struggled to influence the game going forward.<\/p>\n

CM: Thiago Pitarch Pinar \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He failed to get a foothold in the game and was replaced after the hour mark.<\/p>\n

RW: Arda Guler \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guler got himself into some dangerous areas but failed to take his chances in front of the Bayern goal.<\/p>\n

ST: Kylian Mbappe \u2013 7.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was always willing to have a strike at goal and finally managed to find the back of the net in the 74th minute.<\/p>\n

LW: Vinicius Junior \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vinicius Junior was a real menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

CB: Eder Militao \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was solid at the back.<\/p>\n

CM: Jude Bellingham \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n
