In a recent report<\/a>, Fichajes mentioned that Chelsea are in the running to land Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall. It has been claimed that the Blues would have to rival Manchester City and Arsenal in the race to land the English defender this summer.<\/p>\n

Hall\u2019s Impressive Form In English Football<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Hall is having a decent campaign at the Tyneside club after he put in a run of impressive displays on the left side of their backline. The 21-year-old has found the back of the net once and earned two assists in 41 matches for Newcastle this season across multiple competitions.<\/p>\n

The English talent is currently among the best full-backs in the Premier League. Therefore, the Blues would do well to get a deal done for him this off-season.<\/p>\n

His current contract at St. James\u2019 Park will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Chelsea to sign him on the cheap this summer.<\/p>\n

Should Chelsea Boss Liam Rosenior Move In For Hall?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Hall is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn\u2019t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and can create the odd chance for his teammates from the left flank.<\/p>\n

The English sensation is primarily a left-back but can also function as a left-sided wide player or as a box-to-box midfielder if told to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League<\/a> and won\u2019t take much time to settle into life at the West London club.<\/p>\n

We can expect Hall to add more quality and depth to Chelsea<\/a> head coach Liam Rosenior\u2019s defence. He has what it takes to nail down a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge in the coming years.<\/p>\n

At 21, Hall has got the potential to be a world-class player in his position someday.
