Barcelona entertained Atletico Madrid at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. The Catalan club made a slow start to the game and found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the 44th minute when Pau Cubarsi was sent off by the referee. Julian Alvarez gave the visitors the lead just a minute later as Hansi Flick\u2019s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.<\/p>\n

Alexander Sorloth doubled his team\u2019s advantage in the 70th minute as Barcelona crashed to a tough 2-0 loss at the Nou Camp.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at how each Barcelona<\/a> player fared during the clash against Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n

GK: Joan Garcia \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He made one good save at the back, but conceded two goals tonight.<\/p>\n

RB: Jules Kounde \u2013 6\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kounde earned the ball back once and had a couple of lively moments going forward.<\/p>\n

CB: Pau Cubarsi \u2013 5.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

He put his foot through the ball when he could in the first half, but let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 44th minute.<\/p>\n

CB: Gerard Martin \u2013 6.5\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martin did his fair share of defending, but it was not enough tonight.<\/p>\n

Garcia came back to defend when he could and made two decent chances in the final third.<\/p>\n

He failed to protect his backline but was bright on the ball.<\/p>\n

RW: Lamine Yamal \u2013 8\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yamal was a constant menace in the final third, but there was no goal for him.<\/p>\n

He was a positive influence on both halves.<\/p>\n

LW: Marcus Rashford \u2013 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rashford was a constant menace inside the opponent\u2019s half but failed to take his chances.<\/p>\n

He was quiet in the first half and was replaced at half-time.<\/p>\n
